Taigai shiryō bijutsu taikan

This book collects 150 paintings, sculptures, maps and other historical data, each with explanations in Japanese and English. All are in black and white. Includes many docments and letters including some from the Japanese Christian Lords to the Pope concerning the Shogun's decree forbidding Christianity in Japan. There are many historical topics which are covered and is useful for research in Japanese history.
