Bonnie's Guatemala adventure

Bonnie has never known hardship, until she has to accompany her father, a historian-writer studying primitive cultures, to a Maya-Quiche Indian village deep in the Guatemalan jungles. They plan every detail, taking four well-laden pack mules to set up housekeeping in the village. Misfortune strikes, and Bonnie finds herself f acing more challenges than she bargained for. How a modern girl manages in a primitive village, how she teaches her absent-minded father to be more attentive, and what she learns from the golden-skinned, industrious Indians, makes for an exciting story in an exotic land.
