The American naval and patriotic songster

A rare compendium of eighteenth and nineteenth-century patriotic songs, chiefly of the War of 1812. The work is illustrated with a full-page frontispiece plate of the Battle of Lake Erie and 4 other full-page engravings. Among the songs included are "The Star Spangled Banner","Perry's Victory", "Rise, Columbia, Brave and Free", "The True Yank Sailor", "Hornet and Peacock". Pages 243-249 are toasts.
