Floreen Carters book is a 2-volume document of Ontario Place names. It took Mrs Carter eight years to compile. Before computerization of all data her files comprised nine feet of paper files.Published by Phelps Publishing Co. of London, Ont. the two volumes spans 1,351 pages of dense type in two volumes, has 350 sources listed in its bibliography, contains at least 13,000 entries of place names in Ontario. Originally listed @ $195. for the complete 2 volume set.
