About This Book

King Chulalongkorn's advice to his sons, 1885. Brief introduction by Prince Damrongrāchānuphāp. Main text divided into two parts. The first part, 16 pages, written in Thai, consists of H.M. King Chulalongkorn's instructions to his sons--Prince Kitiyakara (Prince Čhanthaburīnarưnāt), Prince Raphi (Prince Rātchaburīdirēkrit), Prince Pravitra Vadhanodom (Prince of Prachin), and Prince Chira (Prince of Nakhon Chaisri)--on the eve of their departure for their education in Europe in 1885. The second part of the text, 13 pages, is the English version of King Chulalongkorn's instructions, translated by Prince Bidya (Prince Phitthayālongkō̜n). From the David K.
