Proyecto de corrección geométrica

"The project for the geometric correction of the Metropolitan Cathedral and the side chapel (Sagrario) officially concluded in 2001, after more than twelve years during which work was conducted on to correct the differential subsidence affecting both temples, and later works to prevent their future occurrence or to mitigate them. Corrective works consisted of the controlled under-cutting of both temples and the preventive injections of cement mortars to standardize the deformability of the subsoil and thus prevent the emergence of more differential subsidence in the future.
