A panorama about the uses and representations of the commercial portrait in Mexico, through a collection of vintage studio photographs made from 1860 until the end of the Porfriato (1910), comprising a wide selection of images and objects. Some series include little-known portraits presented for the first time as well as the series of portraits of historic personages, musicians, actors and actresses, intellectuals, popular characters and Mexican celebrities, among others.
