Alive with the Dead, or, A fly on the wall with a camera

Millman, performance photographer and wife of long-time Grateful Dead publicist, Dennis McNally, had up-close-and personal proximity to the band when she made these images. The photographs range from close-up and panoramic live band shots to doings around the shows, backstage and including the audience and festivities, as well as glimpses of band and extended family members in a variety of public and private venues outside the shows.
