About This Book

Describes four Catholic organizations in Poland - Front Odrodzenia Polski, Unia, Stronnictwo Pracy, and Konfederacja Narodu, their leaders, and their nationalistic and religious ideologies. They were characterized by anti-communism, anti-Sovietism, and antisemitism. The most radical, Konfederacja Narodu, had its origin in the ONR-Falanga. Its ideology was pan-Slavic and antisemitic, warning in particular against the danger of "Judeo-communism", and advocated deportation of the Jews from Poland. It even supported the "Final Solution", seeing antisemitism as an important weapon in the struggle with the Left.
