Enlightenment Spain and the Encyclopédie Méthodique

What did Europe owe Spain in the eighteenth century? This infamous question, posed by Nicolas Masson de Morvilliers in the Encyclopédie Méthodique, caused an international uproar at the height of the Enlightenment.
