B-24's at war in the Pacific

THE PACIFIC: Chronicles the B-24 bombing raids along the "path to the doorstep of Japan". Features attacks by the 7th and the 13th Air Force on: the Gilbert islands, the Marshall Islands, the Caroline Islands, Bouganville (in the Solomon islands), and Kabul -- BURMA: the 10th Air Force attacks Thedaw Air Base (in Burma), opening the Lido Road (from India to China) and setting up the eventual liberation of China from Japan -- THE Philippines: The 5th, 7th, and 13th Air Force retake the Philippines from Japan. Iwo Jima is also featured in this last segment.
