It's the complete directory of every job, works and professional men and activities in the big city of Milan (northern italy) since 1867.
Founded by Mr. Gaetano Savallo, since 1867 original name was "The new Milan and suburbs directory". Later on, in 1883, the name had been shortened in "The directory of Milan". In 1893 the further step: after the town listings the whole province was added past the town activities. It was the sign of the industrial development of the whole province. Later all the editorial group was taken over by Mr. Fontana so that the title become "Guida Commerciale Savallo e Fontana". A complete map of Milan devided in table is added in this directory too showing up all the buildings and gates numbers.
