Relates the history of the founding of the town of Ameca Jalisco and it's surrounding communities. Land grants, socio economic conditions of the region are discussed. Although not a book about genealogy, there is mention of families that settled in the region from Spanish Colonial times. The book also relates the industries that were established, how land passed from generation to generation.
