The purpose of this pilot study is to examine the impact of an algorithm-guided approach for intermittently dosed furosemide in the intensive care unit (ICU) as compared to conventional practice. This is a non-randomized, retrospective study that compared diuresis measures in the algorithm-dosed (AD) vs. the conventionally-dosed (CD) ICU patients.
