This is an album containing a selection of poems by Joseph von Eichendorff in original German language, along with translations into Polish, made by the various authors of the twentieth century.
The Album is illustrated with moody photographs by artist photographer F. B. Stachow.
The book contains a chronology of the poet's life and work in Polish and German language by Paweł Newerla.
Album size 21,3 x 29 cm in hard-cover, 64 pages, was released (ISBN – 83 908261-2-7) in 2004 to mark the 10th anniversary of the unveiling of a copy of the monument depicting Joseph von Eichendorff made by Georg Latton in Racibórz, Poland. Eichendorff was born in Lubowitz / Łubowice in the district Racibórz.
Album released in the efforts of the District Office in Racibórz with financial support of the Stiftung für deutsch-polnische Zusammenarbeit.
The book went through reviews on „Schlesische Nachrichten” No. 4/2005 and „Kulturpolitische Korrespondenz” No. 1202 (May 2005).
