Vilcabamba

A main reading on Vilcabamba from its historical processes, since its early conquest by the Inca Pachacutec and the foundation of Vitkus as the provincial capital, to the present; comprising information compiled in a multidimensional way on archaeology, history, society, geography and economy in a process of changes and continuities organized by tradition and modernity. In addition, it presents descriptions of its geography and the diversity of natural resources distributed in the main basins of the vast territory, accompanied by an archaeological analysis and proposals for the reconstruction of the facts as a hypothesis, through historiographical information.
