The New York Times Mexico survey, 1986

Residents of Mexico were interviewed to measure public opinion on current social, economic, and political issues. Variables include opinions on: the Mexican national economy, their personal political beliefs and party identification, views on the performance of the Mexican government, feelings toward the use of illegal drugs, religious practices, employment status and job description, educational background, income and family composition. They also listed positive and negative aspects of life in the United States, their opinion on the American people and government.
