Alfredo Jaar

Journalist Elisa Cárdenas is the author of the first book dedicated to artist Alfredo Jaar (b. Chile, 1956). The critic texts are based in a series of interviews Cardenas did to the artist in his New York workshop in 2005. The book is a critic and intimate account of the life and art of Jaar, although the author writes "this is not a biography, is fundamentally a promotion instrument. It is a journalist-cultural product that will present in a more open and democratic way the artwork of Jaar to the national public"
