A well-written, easily read novel based on the activity of a Cape Town based fishing company. It is a Jewish family owned business that is challenged to transform itself in tune with the transitions occurring in contemporary South African society. In addition it highlights how the family grapples with gay marriage and racial integration and how the business adapts to globalisation. It sketches a positive outcome to the management of the complexities that characterise South Africa today.
