Pourquoi un panorama critique de la litterature tchadienne? Il s'agit, pour l'enseignant de littérature francophone, de combler un vide. Il n'y a, en effet, pas de traces de la production littéraire du Tchad dans le grand nombre des anthologies et des revues spécialisées. Pourtant, des écrivains crédibles existent. Voici une présentation de tout ce qui a été écrit par les Tchadiens et qui relève de la littérature, pour produire un répertoire afin de faire connaître la production littéraire du Tchad.

Why a critical panorama of Chadian literature? For the teacher of Francophone literature, it is a matter of filling a vacuum. There are, in fact, no traces of the literary production of Chad in any number of anthologies and specialized magazines. Yet credible writers exist. Here is a presentation of all that has been written by the Chadians and which is part of the literature, to produce a repertory in order to make known the literary production of Chad.
