This book is precisely what the title says it is: It is a book that describes the life of 94-year-old Alida Henriette Struze. It contains 65 Christmas letters that she wrote each year beginning in 1950 until 2014. Each annual Christmas letter provides the reader with a peek into Alida’s life, as well as a snapshot of history as she cites some memorable world events for a given year. In addition, this book also describes the loves of her life, which include her love of family, friends, nature, and of course her love of God and country! She also publicly shares for the first time, her forbidden romance that began in childhood and remained a closely held secret throughout her adult life!
