Sanatan

Sanatan is synonymous with Hinduism as the timeless faith of India. Sanatan history in Fiji begins with the first indentured Indian labourers. In Fiji, as in other countries where Indians went under indenture, the Sanatan faith provided core values to overcome the hardships of plantation life and labour. These values include hard work, commitment to education, family and community, and a belief in peace and universal harmony.
