About This Book
***This is literally "THE" definitive book on espionage, regardless of how old-"OLD [!!!]" it is (publication ending in the 1960s); BUT (!) I remember this book since I was a kid; probably IS/should-be a mandatory read at the CIA.
I specifically remember stories about things like the transvestite spy in the 1700's French royal court, "THE" real story behind Mata Hari and Fraulein Doctor spy training houses of World War, I, the failed operations of the British S.O.E. in Holland during World War II, and many -MANY more. I have been unsuccessful in acquiring a personal copy of this book and would literally "sell-my-soul” for a copy.***
