About This Book
Charles Cotesworth Beaman was born 7 May 1840 in Houlton, Maine. His parents were the Reverend Charles Cotesworth Beaman and Mary Stacy. He married Hettie Sherman Evarts in 1874 in Windsor, Vermont. He was a lawyer. He purchased the property in Cornish, New Hampshire that he named "Blowmedown" in 1883. He died in 1900.
