Invitation to the ball

Invitation to the Ball is an art zine about Victorian fashion and miscellaneous ways to get involved in Victorian era arts and crafts. It is quarter-sized and spiral-bound and contains photographs, colored papers and fabrics, yarn and knickknacks included inside. There are short quotes, a detailed description of Victorian balls, and a list of films that feature Victorian era items/themes. The author, Orla Swift, has worked as a theater critic and arts reporter in Raleigh, NC.
