About This Book
The first individual exhibition in Rio de Janeiro of one of the most prominent contemporary artists in Argentina. Under the curatorship of the critic Santiago Navarro, the exhibition comprises a selection of 103 works (drawings, paintings and installations) made since 2000 by Matías Duville (Buenos Aires, 1974). His artistic production is constructed around a recurrent four images-structuring idea: mutation, shelter, storm and imaginary. His artwork is part of the collections of the Museum of Modern Art-MoMA in New York, at the Patricia Cisneros Foundation (New York), Fundacion Arco (Spain), Museo de Arte Latino Americana de Buenos Aires - Malba, the Tate Modern, among others.
