Science & technology almanac

This almanac combines the features of a news digest, science encyclopedia, and statistical handbook for fields including astronomy, computers and the Internet, earth sciences, the environment, health and medicine, meteorology, and technology. This edition has been revised and updated to include the year's significant scientific legislation and regulation and the obituaries of important scientists. Also included are standard references on basic scientific facts and knowledge, including measurements, scientific nomenclature, conversion tables, and the periodic table. The almanac features b&w photos and illustrations, charts, a calendar of upcoming scientific events, directories of science centers and museums, and lists of associations, institutes, and government organizations.
