The Tale of the Kipper

Allegory,absurdist humour and radical social commentary in rhyming triplets, the narrative beginning with the emergence from a pond of a kipper, which has the ability to exchange views upon the iniquities of existence with the poet. A possibly superfluous prose account of the kippering process is appended.
