Les matins infidèles

"The title of this exhibition is taken from the feature film Unfaithful Mornings, in which a photographer takes a picture every morning at the same time on the same street corner for a year to provide a writer with material. This exhibition brings together fifteen artists from Québec and the rest of Canada whose works present great aesthetic diversity yet were executed in a similar manner, guided by strict methodical rules. Including video, large-scale installation, drawing and sound installations, this exhibition presents a little-known aspect of contemporary artistic creation through a selection of engaging works, such as the post-it notes installation by Immony Men.
