Yamazaki Akira is the son of a small factory owner; Kaidō Akira's family is former nobility and owns a major maritime shipping company. These two, with their different births and upbringings, have grown up struggling against their own destinies. Finally their fateful meeting comes, and when their lives intersect, cruel trials fall upon them. Now the two Akiras are in a fight for their lives.
