Puro veneno

An artistic approach of the graphic and urban art of Colombian collective Puro Venenoʺ, who, from direct action, artivism, and urban art, and always as a collectivity, denounce, protest and seek to influence through graphics the defense of the fundamental rights of the Colombian society and protest against the neoliberal logic and the political and social crisis in Colombia. This collective emerged "like a rumor" in the context of the Colombian electoral process of 2018, in which they faced each other. Iván Duque, candidate of the Partido Centro Democrático, and Gustavo Petro, left-wing politician who was mayor of Bogotá from 2012 to 2015. It started as "a graphic campaign of anti-Uribe ideas and with a clear purpose to be part of the antidote against the Uribe lie and hiss thirst to sread death and impunity". "The history of this country is Pure Venom. We want to be the antidote.".
