Computing Terms and Acronyms

This 'quick reference' dictionary was written in the mid-1980s for practising librarians and students of librarianship and information technology. It covered basic computer terminology, and the routines and activities associated with emerging library and information storage and retrieval systems - including database management, networks, online cataloguing, online searching, videotex and word processing.
