The word above all

All that we know of absolute truth is based on the Word of God. The Word is the "fire" by which our Christian stewardship will be tried (Jer. 23:29; I Cor. 3:13-15). The Word will judge those who hear and reject it (John 12:48). The Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God and Savior of the world, is the Word Incarnate (John 1:1, 14), and our eternal destiny depends upon our acceptance or rejection of him! Therefore in the solemn and searching light of an endless eternity it seemed needful at this time to offer a series of sermons on the Word. May God use the messages in this book to bring glory unto himself, and may the readers of these pages find a deeper understanding of the one thing God honors above his own name. - Foreword.
