Alphabetical index of Karnatak songs

This edition gives statistical information on 18000 Karnatak songs. Each entry provides tha beginning words, raga, tala and composer's name. Other files give useful and related information like raga equivalents, synonyms of ragas, and composer indes. There is a also a bibliography.
The revised and expanded second edition, with 33400 entries, was published in 2001. It has two cross indices and the statistical information includes the janya of the raga, the location of the text and the location of the notation. The book also includes the arohanas and avarohanas of over 7500 ragas.
