Oxygen Transport to Tissue XXVIII

This multidisciplinary book covers a wealth of topics, all related to the delivery of oxygen to tissue. Readers will find in its pages material and information on blood flow and its regulation as well as oxygen metabolism. This wealth of subject matter is based on the papers and discussion at the 33rd Annual Meeting of the International Society on Oxygen Transport to Tissue (ISOTT) held in Australia in 2005. Special attention here is paid to methods of oxygen measurement in living tissue and the application of these technologies to understanding the physiological and biochemical basis for pathology related to tissue oxygenation.
