About This Book
San Diego Gas & Electric (the Applicant) has filed a right-of-way application with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for a right-of-way grant to construct, operate, maintain, and decommission a 100-acre solar photovoltaic facility on BLM-managed lands. The Ocotillo Sol Project would interconnect with the existing Imperial Valley Substation and generate up to 20 megawatts of electricity. In connection with its consideration of the Applicants right-of-way application, the BLM will also be considering whether or not to amend the California Desert Conservation Area (CDCA) Plan of 1980, as amended.
