As the title suggests the book deals with the industrial scenario in India, but it also minutely deals with industrialization set up in West Bengal as well as North Bengal. About North Bengal the book highlights almost all the natural untapped resources of North Bengal including Darjeeling district. The author suggests that in Darjeeling there is a huge coal belt as well as copper mine which are yet to be harnessed by the government for the benefit of the public.
