One of the main challenges of the contemporary city has been to meet the requirements of all forms of mobility that different social groups demand to meet their needs in urban contexts. In this area, walking as a form of mobility has been marginalized to a neutral public space in the current transport scheme, giving priority to motorized displacement. Indeed, the contemporary city faces immobility schemes that have isolated the main tools of urban development and the elements that constitute the vitality of large cities.
