Lessons in the journey

Elizabeth Finch, a 42 year old mother, wife and successful pediatric surgeon living in a Chicago suburb is faced with a personal tragedy. Her experiences result in the unraveling of her perfect life, leading her to reevauate her faith and marriage through the wisdom of an unexpected source, while tackling preconceived concepts of race, gender, belief in God and her purpose.
