Taistelunjohtajien valintamenettely

The author uses quantitative method to correlate platoon level peer evaluations of successful combat leadership to the selection criteria of the trainees in the Finnish conscription system. The author classifies the combat leaders in to three categories based on the combat environment (behind enemy lines, at the front, supportive functions). The thesis makes a concrete suggestion how to develop the current selection process in the FDF.
