The monograph traces the history of the concept of crime recidivism, particularly in 19th and 20th century Russian law, and in this context offers a critique of the accomplishments and shortcomings of legislation on crime recidivism in the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan and suggests ways to improve the Code.
