Old school leadership wisdoms

Even though the "torch" of leadership in businesses and organizations, large and small, is being passed from the my generation to those that follow, how to treat people and the blocking and tackling of effective and positive leadership has not fundamentally changed. The values and leadership behaviors presented here may be "old school" because they were born in a generation that has passed the baton. But, these values and behaviors are still relevant because the nature of today's workforce has not fundamentally changed in terms of their humanity. People still want to be treated with respect, valued for who they are and for the talents that make them special and unique, and given opportunities to succeed and have meaning in their lives.--
