Diffusion of public policy innovation among the American states

Dataset contains data on eighty-six examples of innovative legislation and public programs enacted during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and the spread of these programs across the forty-eight continental United States. The dataset includes information on each state from the date when it first became a territory.
