The volume, prefaced by HRH Prince Radu of Romania, contains texts that address aspects of the history of the Royal House of Romania, as well as the role it has played over time in Romanian social and political life. From a journalistic point of view, the book opens the Royal Year, when it is a century and a half since the founding of the Royal House and the modern Romanian state, the year that marks the founding of the Royal Dynasty and the establishment of the first modern Constitution of the Romanian state.
