This paper aims to show through the financial analysis of several banks, how they earn a gross margin of interests in the allocation of resources reaching to exceed, in most cases, 100% per annum of its cost, and to clarify why the Colombian financial sector is able to remain stable before a financial crisis such as occurred in late 2008 and early 2009. this requires a wasteful analysis of the financial statements was conducted over a period of ten years (2000-2009) of the top ten banks. -page 4 of cover.
