Igŏt ida

Narrated by a childhood soccer player who became a prominant mathematics professor pursuing a solution to a mystery involving a soccer ball. He obtains a collection of writings created over the course of decades by an autistic person, and written in a mysterious script. Deciphering this script, he finds a mathematical formula describing the universe, and realizes that mathematics is the language and the key to interpreting our universe -- the equivalent to (if not replacement for) religion and poetry.
