To Ellen Gaylord the exacting routine of Anthony Ware Hospital spelled all the romance and glamor that she asked of life. But Ellen was young and very lovely and Cyrus Dent, the handsome new intern, was piqued by her indifference. His efforts to win her favour resulted only in antagonizing her.
