Matters of trust

Pregnant and abandoned by her lover, Alice has to make some tough decisions. In despair she marries the aging owner of the hotel where she works as assistant manager. Feeling safer and more optimistic about the future of the baby she is carrying, life seems to be on the up, when a face from the past reappears.
