About This Book
This issue begins with the announcement that Henry G. Bell has joined the faculty of the Chemistry Department to conduct work on soil fertility and fertilizers. The English Department column has returned in this issue. Agricultural articles pertain to the success of the livestock judging team, the Ontario Creamerymen's Convention, the management of geese during winter, and girdling apple trees to increase productivity. The Biology column addresses fruit fly evolution and ornithology during the summer. The highlight of the campus news is the examination results for both O. A. C. and the Macdonald Institute. Other campus news is the debate regarding continuation of the O. A. C. Review, and the success of seasonal parties and banquets. The Macdonald Institute column provides instruction on preparing candy, and alumnae activities. While the Alumni column provides alumni updates.
