Inculturation Biblical Hermeneutics

This book explores the biblical and the Agikuyu concepts of sin. It seeks to show how the biblical and the Agikuyu concepts of sin can illuminate each other. Dr. Githuku's argument is that lack of integration between traditional African concepts of sin and the biblical concept of sin is the major cause of increased sinfulness among African Christians. He adeptly demonstrates that the remedy for this anomaly lies in hermeneutics of inculturation, which seeks to purposively root Christianity in the African Soul.
